The Signal in the Static

A research lab for story, systems and self in the age of AI.

A place where ideas grow roots before they grow wings. Where signal is separated from noise by hand, not by algorithm.

These notes aren’t polished. They’re alive. They’re part experiment, part witness, part breadcrumb trail. All pointing toward a different way of thinking about systems, stories, and ourselves.

If something here lands with you, good. If something opens, even better.

This is a Working Notebook

Because most of us are overwhelmed by noise. Digital noise, Emotional noise. Historical noise. And no one ever taught us how to hear ourselves through it.

Because systems shape us more than we realize, and half the time we’re carrying patterns that were never ours to being with.

Because the internet keeps rewarding speed, spectacle, and polish, but the real signal still shows up slow, quiet, and a little strange.

This notebook is my attempt to make a place where thinking can breathe again. Where intuition is taken seriously. Where experiments are allowed to wobble. Where ideas don’t need permission to be real.

Read what calls to you. Let the rest fall away. Notice what gets louder when you do.

The work here lives in three areas: story (how we create and make meaning, self (how we heal, remember and become), and systems (how we build, work and live with technology).

You don't need to read it in order. Just stay where something feels familiar.

Why This Exists

This site is not meant to be read front to back. It's a notebook, a lab and a map. Some pages are essays. Some are experiments. Some are frameworks you can use in your own work or life.

If you're here, you're probably in one of three places: trying to build something, trying to heal from something or trying to create something.

Start there. Follow what feels relevant. Ignore the rest. Come back when something changes.
